Yr1 Acu Students VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
by Amy Best - Wednesday, 16 May 2012, 04:26 PM

Dear 1st year students

This is just a friendly reminder that your end of year exam will take place at the College on Saturday 9th June 2012. The exam will start promptly at 10:00am. The BSc exam is 2 hours in length and the MSc exam is 2 and a quarter hours. For students requiring special set-up or extra time please get in touch with me via email as soon as possible (please do this even if you have already been in touch with Julia previously). Please note that you will be asked to leave bags and personal belongings at the front of the room and you should turn off mobile phones before entering the exam. If you would like any further information regarding rules and regulations for the exam please feel free to contact me, these are also available in your handbook and will be provided at the start of the exam.

I would just like to wish you good luck (not that you need luck!) and remind you to leave your nerves at home as you will do brilliantly. All the very best, Amy

Yr 2 Acu BSc & MSc Bodywork case - corrections
by Amy Best - Tuesday, 8 May 2012, 02:11 PM

Dear all

There are two typos within your Bodywork case. Please correct/note the following:

Under "Upon Examination" the thoracic kyphosis is at T5-T8 and not T15-T18 (which of course don't exist).

Following on, when describing the muscles on the yang aspect of the body being tight, one of the muscles is the biceps femoris and not the biceps brachii.

Many thanks, Amy
